From cold press extraction of pumpkin seed, it is obtained a dark green oil (it is called “green gold” because of its optimal nutraceutic characteristic). Its flavour is almond-like, and if extraction process is made with toasted seeds its flavour is even better and more intense.
It is a natural phosphorus and iron source, and particularly rich in zinc. It contains vitamins A, E, and F, and the complex of B vitamins.
It is very helpful in preventing cardiovascular problems because of its high content of polyunsaturated fatty acids that help to maintain cholesterol and triglyceride levels.
It prevents demineralization of bones, decays, and too fragile nails.
Thanks to the action of zinc and phytoesterol it results beneficial in the treatment of prostate diseases, and as certain problems of impotence are related to prostate condition, some people note an improvement in their sexual level when prostate recovers. It is recommended for men over 40 years old.
